I'm a UX leader,

product designer and experience strategist in Toronto, Canada.

UX Leader

Good leadership takes empathy and trust. I take pride in my ability to lead teams with vulnerability while providing thoughtful feedback and gentle guidance. I care deeply about culture and have led several culture teams with a specific focus on mental wellbeing.

Product Designer

I have worked with a wide variety of brands on the design of their web and mobile products. Over the last 2 years, I have taken a special interest in the retail space and have worked closely with Walmart Canada on their eCommerce experience.

 

Experience Strategist

Strategy is one of my favourite aspects of experience design. I have worked on many discovery and research projects with the aim of understanding the user, defining the business needs and aligning on a clear vision.

 

EXPERIENCE
WORK
Walmart Canada

I worked with Walmart Canada for over 2 years. On this team, I worked directly with the client and was embedded in their experience team. I was UX Lead for the "Shop" domain, which was responsible for the online shopping experience ahead of Cart & Checkout.

Walmart Workshop

While working with Nissan, I designed the UX for a POC (Proof of Concept) app. I led the UX design and collaborated closely with a visual designer and two engineers. Together we created a prototype in just a few weeks.

Toucan Talk is an app startup that I worked on in addition to my day job with a team of 4 people. The goal of the app is to create a safe messaging experience that connects children with their friends and family.

The GO Transit website redesign was a massive undertaking that took place over the course of 2017 and 2018. I joined the project in September of 2017 and helped to evolve the site's templates, branding and pattern library.

In this research and strategy project, we wanted to understand the holistic travel experience and the role of websites such as novascotia.com within that journey. While uncovering pain points and moments of truth, we wanted to identify key opportunities for Tourism Nova Scotia to maximize their digital experience across channels.

Habitat for Humanity Canada was looking to rebuild their main website, collapse three websites into one, move to a new CMS platform and align the new design to a new brand and web strategy.

Royal Canin is not only a renowned pet food supplier but also provides key services to veterinarians across Canada through their Vet Portal. This portal is used in over 90% of clinics across Canada, and this year we wanted to explore the ways we could make this experience better.
